Guiding Philosophy

1. GIBA Strategic Council (GSC)

The GIBA Strategic Council (GSC) represents the highest level of intellectual leadership and prestige within the organizational structure of GIBA. It embodies the long-term vision, core values, and strategic direction of the ecosystem. The Council brings together influential entrepreneurs, scholars, experts, and leaders who serve as the “strategic compass” guiding the sustainable and human-centered development of GIBA. While the GSC is not directly involved in daily operations, it exerts profound influence on the organization’s mindset, culture, and overall strategic orientation.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Define GIBA’s vision, mission, core leadership structure, and medium- to long-term development strategies.
  • Provide strategic advisory support to the Executive Board, affiliated entities, and operational pillars.
  • Review, consult on, and provide critical insights into major directions, new models, and strategic initiatives.
  • Safeguard GIBA’s core values, ethical standards, and academic-social reputation.
  • Facilitate connections with high-level resources, strategic partners, and influential networks.
  • Inspire leadership, sustainable thinking, and a spirit of contribution and service.
  • Accompany GIBA in strategic, external relations, and ecosystem development matters.
  • Contribute to strengthening GIBA’s image and position both nationally and internationally.

2. GIBA Executive Board (GEB)

The GIBA Executive Board (GEB) serves as the central coordinating body responsible for transforming GIBA’s vision and strategies into concrete actions, programs, and measurable outcomes. Acting as the operational “brain” of the ecosystem, the GEB leads, organizes, and manages the overall operation of GIBA in an effective, transparent, and sustainable manner. The Board ensures seamless coordination among operational pillars, affiliated entities, and strategic initiatives across the ecosystem.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement GIBA’s strategic plans and operational activities.
  • Coordinate operational pillars, alliances, associations, clubs, and ecosystem programs.
  • Oversee governance, operations, finance, human resources, and internal systems.
  • Expand membership networks, partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
  • Represent GIBA in external relations, communications, and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure organizational discipline, implementation effectiveness, and operational quality.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve programs and initiatives.
  • Promote organizational culture, collaborative spirit, and GIBA’s core values.

3. Committee on Expertise & Development (CED)

The Committee on Expertise & Development (CED) is a specialized body under the GIBA Executive Board, responsible for supporting the implementation of professional activities and fostering the comprehensive development of the GIBA ecosystem. CED consists of various specialized committees operating across key sectors and disciplines, working closely with the Executive Board, alliances, associations, and clubs to enhance operations, connectivity, and community development. As the “professional core” of GIBA, the CED ensures that all ecosystem activities are conducted with professionalism, effectiveness, and alignment with GIBA’s strategic direction. At the same time, the CED contributes to enhancing member experience, value creation, and the long-term development capacity of the GIBA community.

Key Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Board in implementing specialized activities across different sectors within GIBA.
  • Provide professional consultation, recommendations, and critical review for programs, initiatives, and events.
  • Coordinate with affiliated entities to ensure alignment, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain professional standards, community principles, professional culture, and GIBA’s core philosophy throughout ecosystem activities.
  • Develop, standardize, and manage operational documents, standards, procedures, and supporting tools.
  • Support member development and enhance the capabilities and quality of community resources.
  • Promote research, innovation, and knowledge development for long-term value creation.
  • Contribute to ensuring transparency, harmony, and operational efficiency throughout the GIBA ecosystem.
